ST NEDELYA SQUARE, SOFIA

The design solution offers the construction and differentiation of a unique and unique breathing square, situated both in the heart of the modern and the ancient city. The main purpose is to link di er- ent construction and historical periods. The project envisages the construction of a square on two levels – modern and antique. The main composite element of the square is the 213 light holes, making reference to the most tragic moment in the modern history of the Bulgarian state – the attack in the church of St. Sunday in 1925, when so many victims died.
